About The Coffee Cups Process

Most of our consumers aren't very interested in the lingo associated with the various printing methods we use, but we are. Since you have an interest, here's a brief overview of the various methods we may print your cups! Our customer support team is always available to answer your inquiries. Offset, UV offset, and flexography can be used to print these in CMYK or uncoated spot colors. Flexography, UV Offset, and Offset use ink on a rubber plate before stamping the cups. Flexography uses only one print plate, which then gets applied to the cups. 

Dry Offset and UV Offset are passed on to another stamp before being applied to the cups; UV Offset dries quickly under UV light. Spot coloring uses pre-mixed ink for each color, allowing for precise color accuracy but limiting certain colors. Each design uses CMYK colors, which allows for a wide range of color selections. We use only high-quality food-grade ink, thus we cannot accomplish every hue, but we can provide you with a very comparable color.
